NSPCC's "Speak Out Stay Safe" Programme to Visit CRJS on Friday 22nd September
CRJS children will be visited by the NSPCC, the UK's leading children's charity, who will deliver an assembly on Friday 22nd September to make sure children have the knowledge and understanding to stay safe from abuse. For a minimum donation of £1 children can come to school dressed in green (no hair dyes please).
The NSPCC's "Speak Out. Stay Safe" programme is a nationwide programme for every primary-school-aged child in the UK and Channel Islands. With the help of their friendly mascot Buddy, the NSPCC will be presenting an assembly to the children in our school as well as a workshop for years 5 & 6. These child friendly , interactive assemblies and workshops give children information on how to stay safe without using scary words or adult language.
On Thursday 5th October at 2pm the NSPCC will also be running a workshop at school for parents. More details to follow.
This service is provided free of charge by the NSPCC, but the charity is badly over- stretched and so would be grateful for any donations. For a minimum donation of £1, children may come to school on Friday 22nd September dressed in green (no hair dyes please).
