Mirjana Fowle - Chair

Hello, my name is Mirjana (j is pronounced like y!). I became a governor at CRJS in 2015 and have been a part of a great change as the school transformed into an Academy and joined The Alliance Multi-Academy Trust (TAMAT). It has been personally very fulfilling to be a part of the team that helped drive the school forwards. I am now Chair of governors for our Local Academy Board and aim to continue with our upward journey.

My daughter was at CRJS and is now in Farnborough Hill, while my son attends Carwarden House Community school here in Camberley, where I am also a Chair of Parents Teacher Association.

I used to work as a global supply chain manager in Procter & Gamble, managing a wide variety of fast-moving consumer goods, such as personal care and beauty, home cleaning products, nappies, etc. My personal favourite was managing the global Fine Fragrance giftsets program, including Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss, Gucci and other famous brands. When I left work, I decided to apply the acquired business skills in the realm of school governance.

I enjoy doing yoga and pilates, reading, crocheting, sudoku and spending time with my family.

Finally, I am a link governor for Special Educational Needs and Disability, and a link governor for Looked After Children.
