Pupil Leadership

At CRJS we have several councils which make up our Pupil Parliament. Members of the councils give a speech to their class and are voted onto the councils by their classmates.
The councils meet regularly and work on projects together.
The Well-being Council and Kindness ambassadors:
This council is responsible for over-seeing physical health, mental health, sports and charity. Ms Taylor is the member of staff who supports this council.
The Eco Council:
This council is responsible for raising the profile of our environment. They work together to find ways to encourage everyone in school to look after the world around us. Miss Chick is the member of staff who supports this council.
Learning Council:
This council is responsible for ensuring that our values are being represented across the school. They provide feedback on the curriculum and support the teachers in reviewing some key policies. Miss Jolliffe is the member of staff who supports this council.
Digital Leaders:
This council is responsible for promoting online safety and supporting the use of technology across the school. Mr Davies is the member of staff who supports this council.
House Captains:
House Captains nad Vice Captains are student leaders who play a key role in fostering pride, teamwork, and a sense of community within their house. Selected for their responsibility, enthusiasm, and leadership qualities, they act as role models for their peers and help to represent the voice of their house.
Their responsibilities often include organising and encouraging participation in house events and competitions, welcoming and supporting younger students, and promoting positive behaviour and school values. House Captains also work closely with staff to help coordinate activities, communicate important information, and contribute ideas that strengthen house spirit.
Through their leadership, House Captains help create an inclusive and motivating environment where all students feel encouraged to take part and achieve their best.
