CRJS children will be visited by the NSPCC, the UK's leading children's charity, who will deliver an assembly on Friday 22nd September to make sure children have the knowledge and understanding to stay safe from abuse. For a minimum donation of £1 children can come to school dressed in green (no hair dyes please).

On 3rd March 2017, David Oakley, Chair of Governors, wrote to parents and carers of children at the school to explain that Crawley Ridge Junior School is now ready to join with four other like-minded primary-age schools to create a strong Multi-Academy Trust. The formal consultation process is now underway.

As an introduction to their study of the Hindu faith, Year 6 Children start the New Year with a Bollywood Dance Workshop.
Crawley Ridge Junior School's panto- style production of Cindrella and Rockerfella took place at the beginning of December and received wonderful reviews.
As part of their Young Enterprise project, Year 4 made Pebble Monsters, bird feeders, hot chocolate mix and rock monsters.
On Tuesday 6th December, Crawley Ridge pupils helped raise funds for the Phyllis Tuckwell charity through a sponsored Christmas Reindeer Fun Run.
