Year 4 have ended the term with so much to be proud of. Our Greek Day was a fabulous success and we learnt so much.

• The Greeks were skilled at inventing, maths and engineering.
• The Greeks created plays: tragedy, comedy and satire.
• The Olympics originated in Ancient Greece and we even had our own mini event with javelin throwing.
• We learnt that the winners of the Olympics were allowed to paint an olive pattern on the back of their shield.

This whole day brought together our learning and taught us more about Ancient Greek life.
