Waiting for the snow
On Wednesday 28th February, the children on the playground were very excited as the first flakes of snow arrived at lunchtime.
As temperatures dropped, "the Beast from the East" made its wintry presence felt. Children and staff wrapped up warm to go outside and had fun chasing the snowflakes and attempting to make snow angels.
Crawley Ridge Junior School, along with almost every other school in the area, was subsequently closed on 1st and 2nd March due to the adverse weather.
