I studied at Imperial College, London and gained a Ph.D. degree in Energy and Power Systems. I am a Charted Engineer registered with the UK Engineering Council. I have spent more than 30 years with Scottish and Southern Energy and National Grid undertaking progressively responsible positions in the areas of system planning, project management, new technology application, policy development, market and system operation and asset management.
I have taken a keen interest in developing engineering capability of graduate engineers and have directed and lectured at various courses provided by many UK Engineering professional organisations. I am also an industry mentor at one of the leading UK university. I am currently the Technical Director at RIIO Power Consulting and an Associate at London Energy Consultants delivering multi-million projects with various UK Suppliers.
I have lived in Camberley since 1998 and my son went to a local school. I strongly believe that well-rounded education plays a vital role in developing bright future of our children thus contributing to thriving, caring and progressive communities.
I have previously been a school governor when my son was at a primary school in Norwood Green. I became a co-opted governor at CRJS in 2018. I am passionate and committed to ensuring that CRJS becomes an outstanding school providing well-rounded education to all its students regardless of their background
